The dry port is positioned to play a crucial role in the transshipment of various cargo types, including agricultural products, oil, and potentially oil products, destined for global markets.
Strategically located near the borders with Hungary and Romania, the Chornotysiv Terminal aims to improve cargo movement in and out of Ukraine. The terminal occupies a production area of 14.1 hectares, with investments totaling approximately EUR 6.2 million. Its infrastructure includes modern elevator equipment capable of handling grain and oilseeds, designed to meet European quality standards. The terminal is adapted to both Ukrainian and European rail gauges.
The company managing the terminal has outlined plans to significantly increase the volume of goods transshipped by 2025, reflecting a commitment to scaling up operations in the coming years.
As part of its operational strategy, the terminal's equipment includes cone silos and flat-bottom silos, designed for reliable grain storage and handling, provided by Delta Engineering.
