This connection will run three times a week in both directions, offering a regular schedule aimed at providing freight transport solutions for the growing market demand.

The service originates from a terminal in Parma designed and managed by CEPIM Interporto Parma, positioned along the Scandinavian-Mediterranean Corridor. The terminal supports intermodal logistics, integrating rail and road transport options. According to the schedule provided by GTS, the service will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for Nola-to-Parma trips and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for Parma-to-Nola trips.

This connection is presented as part of an effort to address logistical requirements between northern and southern Italy. It is expected to provide optimized transit times and align with sustainable practices. The initiative reinforces the role of rail as a transport option in regions such as Emilia-Romagna and Campania, both key economic zones in Italy.
