The intermodal service operates three weekly round trips with P400 profile capacity and a gross train weight of 1,700 tonnes.

Hupac Group has started a dedicated company shuttle service connecting Liège, Belgium, and Piacenza, Italy. SBB Cargo International serves as the primary traction provider for the link, which targets the transport of semi-trailers and containers between Northern Europe and the Italian market.

The service utilizes the P400 loading gauge, allowing for the transport of standard mega-trailers across the Alpine corridor. Trains are configured to handle 1,700 tonnes of freight in both directions. Operations began on 11 April 2024, following the establishment of the rotation schedule between the Belgian and Italian terminals.

Traction on the Belgian segment of the route is subcontracted to BLS Cargo Nord. Frisaye Transport acts as the lead customer for the capacity on this specific rotation. The connection expands the existing intermodal network managed by the operator, focusing on high-frequency corridors through Switzerland and the Luino axis.
