The framework contract between the Lithuanian operator and Stadler was signed on 21.06.2023 and entails purchasing up to 54 battery-electric and electric multiple units. In the first call-off, 15 FLIRT trains will be delivered:

The remaining trains from the initial fixed order will be 6 three-car battery-electric units. With a length of 65 meters, they will seat up to 128 passengers, 6-30 bicycles and vending machines for snacks. These will replace the current fleet of diesel trains in operation with an emission-free alternative.
