By working closely with Network Rail, Progress Rail will help ensure that the necessary equipment for track maintenance and upgrades is delivered consistently and on time.

Progress Rail has signed a five-year contract with Network Rail to supply switches and crossings (S&C) along with associated components in the UK. The agreement focuses on using Progress Rail's engineering and manufacturing capabilities within the UK to support the long-term infrastructure needs of Network Rail.

The contract outlines a continued collaboration between the two companies, with Progress Rail expected to draw from its local production facilities. The company operates four manufacturing and assembly sites in the UK, including foundries in South Queensferry and Nottingham. This domestic presence is intended to support Network Rail’s infrastructure projects by providing a steady supply of essential components and ensuring supply chain stability over the next five years.

The partnership also includes a focus on improving product design and delivery processes, aimed at better operational efficiency.
