Lineas and Hupac Intermodal have announced updates to their services on the Antwerp-Catalonia line, with Lineas being traction provider and Hupac taking care of the operational side.
From September 16, 2024, several key changes will take effect:
- Hupac Intermodal will increase the frequency of its intermodal services to up to 10 roundtrips per week
- Hupac Intermodal will take over the operation and commercialization of the intermodal service on the Antwerp-Catalonia line
- Lineas will continue to be the traction provider
Lineas has been undergoing a comprehensive transformation to realign its services, leading to increased customer satisfaction. As part of its strategy, Lineas aims to improve its role as a traction provider for the Antwerp-Catalonia route, aiming for better quality and operational synergies.
