The system enables real-time data sharing related to train movements, container handling, and load details.

Green Cargo and Hogia have implemented an API-based integration that connects the rail operator’s ARMS (Automated Rail Management System) with Hogia’s terminal software, automating information exchange between railway and terminal operations.

When a transport is booked via Green Cargo Connect, the relevant data is sent directly to the terminal system. Terminal operators then register lift operations, cargo weight, and status updates, which are automatically sent back to Green Cargo. This replaces previous routines based on manual calls and checks.

The integration is intended to support the daily handling of intermodal freight by aligning information flows across different actors. The new setup allows both terminal operators and freight forwarders to access live updates needed for planning and cargo handling.

Additional functions are planned, including digital wagon order, temperature monitoring for refrigerated transport, and damage registration.
