Srbijavoz and EBRD cooperate on financing for 12 new sleeping cars

The financing arrangement supports the operator’s plan to replace older rolling stock used on overnight routes.

Srbijavoz has signed an agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to procure 12 new sleeping cars for international passenger services.

The new cars will be designed in line with EU standards for cross-border passenger operations. According to the company, the first deployment is planned on the Belgrade–Bar line, with the vehicles intended to strengthen long-distance capacity and allow the introduction of additional international connections.
