PKP CARGO, in cooperation with PKP CARGO Service, won a tender organized by TAURON Ciepło for the rail transport of coal.
The total volume of coal to be transported amounts to 465,000 tons, with a gross contract value of EUR 3.4 million. The next phase involves finalizing the agreement, which will establish the detailed conditions for the transport operations. The signing of this agreement will formalize the terms of cooperation between the parties involved.
Although it was coal that almost crushed the company once the energy crisis started, the incumbent operator, currently in reconstruction, is still heavily dependent on coal hauls.
