CrossCountry has introduced the first refurbished Voyager train into service, marking the start of a fleet interior and exterior refresh across its UK network.
The refurbishment covers interior upgrades including new seating, carpets and tables, as well as the installation of LED lighting throughout the train. Power provision has been expanded with the addition of 3-pin sockets alongside USB-A and USB-C charging points at seats.
Changes also include reconfigured bicycle spaces and updated interior and exterior labelling intended to improve wayfinding for passengers. Alongside the interior work, the Voyager has received a revised exterior livery.
