Railcare Group AB will soon expand its operations with the introduction of the first CZ LOKO EffiShunter 1000 locomotive, marked as 744 169, now prepared for Railcare livery.
Railcare Group recently bught stake in AC Finance AB, including the subsequent lease agreement come at a time when the industry faces challenges related to an aging locomotive fleet and stricter environmental and technical requirements. By securing access to the EffiShunter 1000 locomotives, Railcare aims to maintain its operational efficiency and readiness for future transport projects.
The other shareholders in AC Finance AB, Actinvest AB and Nornan Invest AB, each hold a 30% stake in the company. Actinvest AB manages a passenger transport group that includes both bus and train companies, while Nornan Invest AB is the largest shareholder in Railcare.
