Alstom has appointed Yael Rosenman Gross as Managing Director for Israel, effective 1 April 2026, as the company strengthens its leadership in the Middle East rail market.
In her new role, Rosenman Gross will oversee Alstom’s activities in Israel and report to the President of the Africa, Middle East and Central Asia (AMECA) region.
She brings more than 17 years of experience within Alstom, having held a range of senior roles across legal, commercial and partnership management. Most recently, she served as Cluster Israel Legal Director, developing close relationships with customers and stakeholders in the local market.
The appointment comes at a time when Israel continues to expand its rail and urban transport systems, creating opportunities for international suppliers across rolling stock, signalling and infrastructure.
From a rail industry perspective, strengthening local leadership is a key factor for major suppliers such as Alstom, particularly in markets where projects are increasingly complex and require strong coordination with public authorities and partners.
Rosenman Gross succeeds Eran Cohen, who moves to a new role within the Alstom Group.
The move reflects Alstom’s ongoing focus on reinforcing its regional presence and delivery capabilities, as rail investment continues to grow across both European and neighbouring markets.
