But this technology evangelist, as Petr Mara calls himself, is not the only VIP. If he is one of the biggest magnets of the morning, the man who has been influencing the Czech economy for decades - Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies Karel Havlicek - will take the stage right after lunch.

And what are the other key themes of this year's conference?

  • The real use of modern ETCS systems
  • The role of AI and digital technologies in transport construction, traffic management and maintenance
  • The future of Czech and European railways in a digital world
  • Strategies for shifting freight transport from road to rail

During the day, top personalities from the government and railway sector will take the stage - in addition to the aforementioned Karel Havlíček, among others:

  • Tomáš Tóth, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ČD Cargo
  • Dan Kurucz, CEO of Alstom Czech Republic
  • Pavel Mazač, Director of Rail Freight Division, OLTIS Group

There will also be a dynamic accompanying programme aimed at students. In addition to the main conference, there will also be a job and personal development fair, which will introduce students and young professionals to career opportunities in the railway industry.

What's more - as part of the morning programme, students can compete for great prizes! Just pay attention during the morning programme and take part in the knowledge competition from 12:00 in the Main Hall via the Sli.do app.

In addition to the competition, visitors can try out virtual reality or just artificial intelligence, in the form it could control traffic on the railway.

In summary: whether you want to network with industry leaders, explore the role of AI in rail development, or take the first steps towards a rail career - this conference is the place to make your dreams come true.
