CIRCLE S.p.A. has announced that its subsidiary Magellan Circle Italy has signed a two-year contract worth approximately €140,000 with a port sector client. The contract covers the financial and technical management of six European Union (EU) projects. The projects aim to promote digitalization and support energy transition
Magellan Circle Italy is renowned for its expertise in the transport, mobility, logistics, environment, and circular economy sectors. It will provide consultancy services for projects under the Connecting Europe Facility, Interreg Central Europe, and Interreg Italy-France Maritime programmes. The focus of these initiatives will be on improving the efficiency and sustainability of port operations.
“Our long-term goal is to act as consultants in programs where we can add value through the innovation of technologies created by the Group, supporting clients in finding efficient and sustainable solutions in the port system, in line with the objectives set by the European Union. We will work closely with our client, a unique partner in the port sector, providing an innovative service to achieve the goals set for each project,“ said Alexio Picco, President of Magellan Circle.
The new contract meets the wider objectives of the MITMS initiative, which promotes purchasing or adapting wagons for freight on the RFIG. It is expected to facilitate more efficient and environmentally friendly port operations by integrating digitalisation and energy transition measures.
