David Vaquero brings experience in rail vehicle technology, as well as broader knowledge of industries including energy supply and plant engineering. Before joining Lenord+Bauer, he worked for companies including Schaltbau and Telergon.
His role will focus on technical support for customers and building a sales network for new clients in Spain and Portugal.

The appointment comes as Lenord+Bauer establishes its own subsidiary in Spain. The company, which specialises in embedded sensor technology and integrated drive systems, is expanding its international network after earlier locations in China, Italy, India and the United States.
Ulrich Rink, Managing Director of Lenord+Bauer International GmbH, said the company’s partnerships with customers on the Iberian Peninsula had developed positively in recent years.
