Passenger satisfaction at České dráhy increased again in 2025, driven mainly by fleet modernisation and service improvements. Data from the operator’s mobile app show a steady upward trend in customer ratings.

Passenger satisfaction at České dráhy continued to rise in 2025, based on feedback collected via the operator’s mobile application. More than 830,000 journey ratings have been submitted since the system was introduced, with the average score reaching 4.21 out of 5 in 2025, up from 4.10 in 2023. Almost 173,000 passengers have taken part in the survey programme.

According to CEO Michal Krapinec, the data provide regular insight into customer expectations and areas for improvement. The company receives around 20,000 ratings per month, covering the full travel chain from ticket purchase to arrival.

Passengers rate ticket purchasing and onboard staff most highly, with average scores of 4.67 and 4.59 respectively in 2025. The operator reports that newer trainsets have a direct impact on satisfaction levels, particularly fleets such as ComfortJet, RegioPanter and RegioFox, which offer step-free access, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, power sockets and modern interiors.

Member of the board for passenger transport Jiří Ješeta said long-distance services linking Prague with Ostrava, Cheb, České Budějovice and Linz consistently achieve average scores above four points. České dráhy sees the results as confirmation that rolling stock renewal and service upgrades are translating into measurable improvements in passenger experience across both long-distance and regional networks.
